That rodent is a capybara. I got a pic of it, too, but it didn't turn out all that great.
You'd never heard of red pandas? They have them at the Knoxville zoo. They're not really pandas. They're more like raccoons.
The zoo was fun except for that part there at the end. That part wasn't much fun. Wish I felt better and wish we'd had more time to explore the park. I love zoos.
I got a pic of myself hugging one of those big balls. I told Dawn and the kids I was "becoming one with the ball." I'll see if I can find the pic.
"The part there at the end" I'm takling about was me having a sinking spell.
Actually, I felt like my heart might start beating and I might just fall over dead right there at the Smithsonian's Zoological Park. I guess there are worse places to die.
But after a rest, I recovered enough to walk out of the park and board the subway.
Yeah, the zoo was really great. Next time, we HAVE to go to the kid's section. They have a petting area.
I must admit that your turning white and grey made for a very interesting end to the day.
Glad it all worked out.
The picture of my balls didn't turn out. I was disappointed. The light wasn't right or something.
